Position Overview
Cisco seeks an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead cybersecurity sales initiatives for the Public Sector across India and SAARC. This role focuses on driving strategic growth in Central Government, Defense, and State accounts, ensuring alignment with Cisco’s Global Security Sales Organization (GSSO) objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Cyber Security Specialists (CSS) to deliver tailored solutions for public sector clients.
- Develop and execute sales strategies for Central, State, and Defense sectors, leveraging technical expertise and market insights.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with GSSO Sales, Systems Engineering (SE), Product Engineering, and Channel teams to drive customer success.
- Drive cloud security solutions across enterprise, data center, and IT service provider environments.
- Build long-term relationships with public sector stakeholders, addressing evolving security challenges.
- Stay updated on industry trends to position Cisco’s security portfolio effectively.

Qualifications
- 12–15 years of experience in cybersecurity sales, with at least 5 years in the public sector (government/defense).
- Proven track record in managing large, complex sales cycles.
- Technical proficiency in network security, cloud architectures, and data center solutions.
- Strong understanding of public sector procurement processes and compliance requirements.
